The SteelSeries Siberia 200 are really simple to set up. I’ve used them on the PS4 and it works quite well. This will then allow you to use the headset on either a mobile device or with your PS4 via the controller. However, in the box you’ll also find an included adapter cord that will link the two and end them at a standard 3.5mm jack. This is because the Siberia 200 is really meant for use on PC/Mac. The Siberia 200 has separate connector jacks for the mic and speakers. That means you can adjust volume on the fly by turning the adjustment wheel and can mute your mic too by toggling the mute switch. For starters, the Siberia 200 has an inline volume/mute control. Now, the SteelSeries Siberia 200 does have some major differences from the Siberia P300 I had before. This keeps the mic safe from damage while in storage or transport. You can position the mic in almost any position thanks to its design and when you’re not using them anymore, just retract them back into the headset.

What I also like about the SteelSeries Siberia 200 is the use of an adjustable, retractile mic. It’s so light and long sessions never make your head feel tired or in pain. The combination of the memory foam ear cushions, self-adjusting headband, and the lightweight materials make for one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever used. The cushions also serve a secondary function of reducing outside noise that could leak into your headset. The SteelSeries Siberia P300 is also super comfy thanks to the memory foam ear cushions that it uses. Also, it really does amaze me just how light and thin the headband is again.

Not only that, the improved headband evenly spreads the weight of the headset over the entire band and not just at a single point. That’s mean not having to manually adjust sizing. It features a similar suspension headband design that automatically adjusts to the user’s head. Like the Siberia P300, the SteelSeries Siberia 200 is one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever used. In this post, I’m going to be looking at the SteelSeries Siberia 200 first and the Siberia 300 in a later post. Unlike the Siberia P300, the Siberia 200 and 350 are primarily marketed for use on PC/Mac but can also be used on PlayStation 4. Me being a nice dad let him have them, but not wanting to miss out myself on the comfort, I hit up SteelSeries again and was sent their newly released SteelSeries Siberia 200 and Siberia 350. They were one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever used and since then, my son had taken it upon himself to claim them as his own. These were headsets made especially for the PS4 that were both affordable and feature packed. Last year, I did a review on the SteelSeries Siberia P300 gaming headset for the PlayStation 4.
